At Lathrop Intermediate School, home of the Spartans, the future begins with discovery and exploration. Students are encouraged to expand their academic skills, develop independence, and explore new interests through diverse programs, electives, and extracurricular activities.

We provide guidance and opportunities that help students build confidence, strengthen character, and prepare for the transition to high school and beyond.  Lathrop Spartans are always Respectful, Responsible, Safe, and Kind.

Dear Lathrop Spartan Families and Community,

I hope you and your family are enjoying a safe, restful, and memorable summer. As we prepare for the start of a new school year, our staff is excited to welcome our Spartans back to campus for another year filled with learning, growth, and opportunity.

At Lathrop Intermediate, we remain committed to providing a supportive and engaging environment where every student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. We look forward to building on our successes and creating new opportunities for students through academics, leadership, college and career readiness, STEM experiences, athletics, clubs, and student activities.

We are grateful for the continued support of our families and community. Together, we will continue to create a school where students are challenged, supported, and inspired to achieve their goals. Enjoy the remainder of your summer, and we look forward to seeing you soon.

Espero que usted y su familia estén disfrutando de un verano seguro, agradable y lleno de momentos especiales. Mientras nos preparamos para el inicio de un nuevo año escolar, nuestro personal está emocionado de dar la bienvenida nuevamente a nuestros Spartans para otro año lleno de aprendizaje, crecimiento y oportunidades.

En Lathrop Intermediate, seguimos comprometidos a brindar un ambiente seguro, acogedor y enriquecedor donde cada estudiante pueda desarrollarse académica, social y emocionalmente. Important Information

Program Verification

Families are encouraged to attend Program Verification to complete Data Confirmation, review student schedules, learn about school programs, and meet our staff.

  • 6th Grade: Tuesday, July 21
  • 7th Grade: Wednesday, July 22
  • 8th Grade: Thursday, July 23
  • Make-Up Day: Friday, July 24

 

Summer Bridge

All incoming 6th-grade students are strongly encouraged to attend Summer Bridge. This program helps students become familiar with the campus, meet staff and classmates, and begin their middle school journey with confidence.

Summer Bridge Dates: July 28–31
Time: 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

 

Verificación de Programa

Invitamos a todas las familias a participar en la Verificación de Programa para completar la Confirmación de Datos, revisar el horario de clases de su estudiante, conocer los programas escolares y reunirse con nuestro personal.

Puente de Verano

Se recomienda ampliamente que todos los estudiantes que ingresan al 6.º grado participen en el Programa Puente de Verano. Este programa ayuda a los estudiantes a familiarizarse con el campus, conocer a sus maestros y compañeros, y comenzar su experiencia en la escuela secundaria con confianza.

Free Summer Meals Now Available Across SAUSD

SAUSD’s Summer Meals Program is now underway, providing free breakfast and lunch to youth 18 and under, as well as eligible adults with disabilities.

With more than 60 locations across the District, families can access nutritious meals throughout the summer at convenient neighborhood sites.

Community members are encouraged to visit a nearby location and take advantage of this valuable resource.
